Buying Datejust 41 with discount

I'm not sure if it's common but I'm now offered any Datejust 41 color and combination for 15% off retail and no tax from an authorized dealer I purchased watches with before. Is that too good to be true?

Interesting I thought no more discount for Rolex unless it's precious metal and not sport.

15% off on a DJ isn't enough. Those don't move like the professional models, so I'd ask for 20% off minimum and you could probably do better than that even in today's climate from smaller ADs.

Annoyingly, I did not receive any discount offer on my DJ41. I purchased a black dial, fluted, on jubilee a few weeks ago, and paid full RRP from an authorised dealer in London. When I asked if anything could be done on the price, I was politely told "No". I still bought it though.

Just purchased a DJ 41 126333 two tone, fluted, jubilee, black stick dial. Got 12% discount. So, not too bad considering it was my first purchase with the AD.
