Three in one year!

It started in May when I was seriously looking into getting an AP Royal Oak Offshore, and my brother in law convinced me to buy a Rolex. The decision making point was I would get more for less money with a Rolex. The more I looked and compared I find a lot of truth in that statement.

So I bought a Z-serial WG Daytona which is absolutely stunning. A few months later I walked into an AD and they were desperately trying to sell, so I said I will buy a Milgauss GV if they could get me one - thinking they would never be able to find one, I got the call one week later for a V-serial! Lastly my wife got jealous (understandably) so Santa brought a K-serial SS/WG DateJust which looks amazing on her.

Thought I would share some pics. Happy New Years to you all.

Congratulations!! And make sure you take care of that jealous wife! They are certainly worth it if they want a Rolex!

Three VERY nice pieces for sure. 2009 is time to branch out into some other brands or something with a date or 2nd TZ for you.

Congrats on your year! For me I hope 2009 will be at least 1/3 as good as yours.
