A prior thread on the ability to find bargain Rolex in Turkey was closed due to derailing into politics; I went to add to it and found this out. I'd been browsing ebay looking for a TAG Heuer Monaco and ended up finding a new one for about a 50% discount out of Turkey. It was almost delivered yesterday but we were out of the house. Tomorrow I'll pick it up from the post office. I'd suspect there are other deals available coming out of Turkey; I'm not so certain that a trip there is needed to find them in this internet enabled global market place. I guess I'd add that the ability to sell to anywhere in the world would significantly reduce the impact any countries economics have on sales capability of highly sought after watches.

Interesting. Yeah with the Lira where it is I can imagine you could score a really good deal from there right now. Enjoy the new Monaco.

Recently came back from Istanbul but didn't actually look at any Authorised Dealers while I was out there! wish I had now.
