Bezel pearl (dot)

I hit my Sub against a door handle today. It wasn't a hard hit and I looked for scratches and didn't see any so I breathed a sigh of relief. A short time later I looked again and noticed the bezel pearl was missing.

Has anyone had the pearl replaced? It looks like it would be simple fix but I might be assuming too much.

RSC can replace just the pearl on the ceramic inserts. Shouldn’t be a big deal

One of the many downsides of ceramic not a DIY fix at one time you had to replace the complete bezel insert at huge cost. But after many complaints Rolex developed a special tool to replace the pearl only.

If the pearl just got knocked out of the capsule easy cheap fix. On the other hand if the pearl and the capsule is knocked off, the entire bezel needs to be replaced. Not cheap for a ceramic bezel !

Fortunately the capsule is still there. Interestingly, I've talked it to 3 different AD's here in town hoping that one of them might be able to repair it without sending it to a RSC. None of them can, but they also say the bezel has to be replaced. (they didn't actually see the watch but I described it to them) When I tell them I heard Rolex is able to replace just the dot they say they've never heard of that. And that includes talking to 2 watchmakers at the AD's. Anyway, I'll be sending it to the service center where hopefully they're versed on the dot replacement procedure.

About a year ago i saw an AD in Norway post on a forum that they just received the equipment for pearl replacement on ceramic bezels. So it should be an easy fix, as posted above. :)
