A pretty solid market explanation.

This is a solid article from Forbes in May of 2018 that explains the Swiss Watch Market in the USA.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/arielad.../#3cb1401269f3

It fully describes the grey market and the ongoing problems that AD's have with their parent companies.

Worth the read.

Thanks for sharing Kent. There’s quite a lot of content to digest there.

Thanks, excellent article

It seems that the industry is creating their own demise and that is sad.

what a great read. Very interesting perspective on how the Swiss companies do not promote execs from the (marketed) country. Wonder what the statistics are on that. Also, very hard to get a long term perspective given the internet's fundamental change in purchasing/consumer information power in a relatively short time frame. I suspect the watch industry, like my own legal profession, spends too much time gazing into the rear view mirror and not the windshield.
