Quick Change Strap System

It is my understanding that on a PAM 48 there was a quick change strap system put on watches late in the 'J' production run and of course on the 'K.' Does anyone know at what point in the 'J' production that they did this?

Also, any details and/or pics would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You just have to ask the seller. Some J's have it, some J's don't. Kind of like "Z" Rolex's and the RBR.

Yeah but after a certain number, they were the quick change and that's what I am looking for. The seller in this situation wouldn't know.

Takes less than 1 min for a change with the quick change system

It is good to have the quick strap change system. But seriously I am not concerned, personally, about it. I do not have any of those but I took maybe 2-5 mins to change my straps. So if I lose 1-4 mins, what did I lose? Can't even finish a cup of hot coffee perhaps?

And how often does one change his straps? Daily? Every alternate day? For me, maybe the fastest is a week(rarely), the longest so far....months.

JMO.

You will most likely change straps more often with the quickchange system.

My 164J has it and its very nice. Def worth the money...since most people swap the straps often.
