For Sale or Trade: Vintage 1969 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Ref. 1025, Excellent Condition. Full Set, including papers and original Rolex Leather Strap and Signed Buckle

Prefer FTF in San Francisco Bay Area but will consider shipped across USA.

Asking $5,500 USD, OBO. I know there are cheaper examples out there but extremely few in such good shape or as complete as this one. I also just had a watchmaker/ jeweler come back with an appraisal of $7,000. In any case, I'm realistic and reasonable on value or trades, just trying to thin down my collection (as beautiful as this one is, it never gets the wrist time it deserves!).

More About the Watch:

- Circa 1969 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Gold Shelled ref. 1025 acquired here in SF (all original, including Rolex strap and buckle, with original papers, original purchase receipt and box)

- Beautiful gold colored dial matches well with gold shell, pops well against deep brown Rolex strap

- Case, dial, crystal and hands are in excellent condition save for a couple of small dings on the case (normal wear from original owner). The buckle is also chipping a little bit on the side where the leather strap is received (picture included)

- Serial # starts with 207xxxx

- Excellent condition for its age – I am the second owner of this watch and story I received was the original owner rarely wore this and it was sold off once he passed. The watch was serviced by the reputable watch dealer (here in SF) when I purchased it

- Original box & papers include: original box & pillow, original receipt from purchase in the 1970's; official Rolex attestation certificate with matching Serial #; original green leather Rolex booklet; original owners booklet with matching Serial #
