New SS to go with old WG (incoming)

Seeing them side by side, one can really appreciate the difference between stainless and white gold. Also as a former 116520 owner, I really like the updated bezel and markers.

Going to take me a bit to get used to the weight of stainless again, but very happy with the current state of the collection.

The Daytona is cool, but I've always liked the white-gold Submariners.

The luster of WG is warm. SS is cold. Great picture showing the subtle but real difference.

Awesome pair and great photo! Very helpful reference shot for some of us here who don't have any WG in their collection

Smurf is simply perfection! Embodiment of the iconic Sub in the warmest “steel” in the world. Equally beautiful pieces. Wear in good health

Thanks guys for the kind words.

It is really remarkable to see the difference between SS and WG in person. After my wife saw both metals side by side, now she understands the draw to white gold.
