I have the original folded link oyster for my 5513 but it is severely worn out. It has a lot of stretch and is very scratched up. The clasp is actually dented to the point of not being a reliable closure. In addition, I am missing links so the only way it is currently fitting my wrist is by having the diving extension in the open position.

I wear the watch on a NATO most of the time, just to avoid the poor bracelet.

I was in my AD the other day and I was trying on a GMT master (116710LN) and man was that bracelet awesome! That got me to thinking, there has to be a modern bracelet that will fit my 5513. Is that so? Preferably with solid end links? I tried searching online but mostly got links to "aftermarket" bracelets that i would prefer to avoid.

The dealer had a GMT master (116710LN) and you didn't buy it?

Sorry I cant advise you on fitting a newer bracelet but I'm thinking you should send in your original bracelet to have it restored no matter what you do. There are a couple of guys that are highly recommended for that if you ask here. Good Luck.

An Oyster 93250 with solid links should work, but don't quote me on it

I'm pretty sure a 91350 works but you don't get SEL.

Re 7206 - depends on the age of the watch. Could also have a C&I, but I’d just have the 9315 restored or replaced.

OP, I’d prefer to keep the original bracelet on your 5513. Part of the charm in wearing these older references is the thinner, lighter and arguably more comfortable bracelets of that era.

For me modern cases and modern bracelets are made for each other and vintage cases and bracelets are made for each other

A company that was contracted by Rolex to make bracelets for the US market. This way they could import the watches, pair them up with bracelets made in the US and reduce tariffs.

I just recieved an email back from Mr. Young. I didnt realize how realistic his prices were! My bracelet will be headed that way as an early birthday present to myself. Hopefully his results will be as good as described. Anyone here use him to restore a folded link bracelet?

Yes he did a 7206 rivet for me for my gilt Sub. Bracelet from 1966 and it came back like new. Also a folded jubilee from same era. He does great work.

I just tried a 2010 93250 on a 1984 5513 to find out. It does not work: the bottom of the solid end link doesn't meet the side of the case and when the bracelet is pulled down, the end link flips up. See pic:
