I was wondering if anyone could tell me the first year for the security etching in the sapphire crystal of a Lady Datejust? I have a "P" (2000) model that has an original etched sapphire crystal ( not a service part ). Any info would be great.

I would assume it started with the new bracelet (where the gold links are now solid as opposed to the old one). that's what I know
