Rolex 116509 rarity
I was curious how rare these are to find in ad display cases. I came across one recently and loved it. It’s at the very top of my budget but I wonder if it’s a watch that I’m likely I have another shot at in the future or if I should jump on it while I have the chance. At Canadian retail price with a small discount from an ad it isn’t that much more than grey prices in the US.

Easy to get. Underrated. Okay, they might add an ceramic bezel and it will blow up.

Thanks for the heads up. It’s certainly underrated and I agree with a ceramic bezel it would pop that was my only complaint for the $43,000 cdn sticker price.

Quite a shame but still the most stunning Daytona IMO.
If it will be harder to get in the near future... you'll never know with Rolex. |

A. I wouldn't count on the 509 getting a ceramic bezel, but... B. If it does, it won't hurt the resale price, (at least it didn't for the steel version), so... C. Get it if you like it, it's one heck of a great watch. |
