This, believe me, was done when manufactured. It is a mispelled "patented" and is a genuine diver's extension. It is not a counterfeit!!! Found on the early 9315 bands.

Err buddies...buddy Springer is right...the 9315 Oyster folded bracelet
with "Pateted" Diver extension links n 280 End Links...smooth fliplock... is 100% correct. In fact...the "Pateted" Diver extension links in itself...is RARE which is correctly mentioned by the Seller... The bracelet fits 1665/1680/5512/5513 of the early 70s era... n it is exclusively fitted to 1665 DRSD(Double Red Sea-Dwellers)... |

Very reasonable price so far. I bet it will be bid up with 5 days left to go. This one will be fun to watch.

99.999% of the time, a misspelling is enough to throw out a specimen as a fake. This is one of the exceptions- right there with the 1800 "Americai" large cent.

You say patated, I say patahted. Definitely time to call the whole thing off.
