I read about this organization a few years ago when they were just getting off the ground, and thought it was a great idea that solved a couple problems (Veteran employment and lack of qualified watchmakers). I follow them on Facebook and have been watching their progress getting the program and their facility off the ground.

I have no personal affiliation with them, but I just donated to them for "Giving Tuesday" and figured I would share the link to their site:
