Any of you that work at a desk all day. Do you worry about scratching your bracelet on a desk?

I am chained to a desk all day. I don't sweat the swirls. Besides, most of the desk swirls will be covered over by the ones caused by the side of the pool.

I used to worry with my 116613lb
With my new 116234, I hadn’t even thought of that. Thanks for reminding me Joking aside, like a lot of the members on this forum say, minuscule scratches are unavoidable. Maybe you’ll dodge the ones from the desk by being extra careful, but then your shirt cuff might guarantee hair line scratches anyway. I would say, try to be careful so that you don’t bang your watch on the file cabinet, but don’t be so so careful that wearing your watch will create a hassle or stress Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Keyboard is off the end of my desk so my wrist is not touching anything. I usually just take it off while I work as it is more comfortable.

I bought a mousepad made for the gamer crowd, it's big enough (approx. 12x18 in.) to reach the edge of my desk so the watches hit it and not the hard surface.
It doesn't eliminate everything, which is fine by me, but it's an easy way to eliminate 75% of the daily wear. The one in the pic is a slightly smaller one I cut down for travel. |

As some have said, scratches are unavoidable. Don't want to scratch your watch - leave it in the safe.

I'd rather avoid consuming energy drinks than scratching my clasps.

I use a strip of clear plastic tape. Change it every few months. Laugh all you want but it takes 3 seconds to apply and 5 years later my clasp looks brand new.

Scratches are like battle scars, I feel sorry that you are only able to acquire micro-scratches... Hopefully, one day you will be able to give it a good bang and remember the day it occurred, like the 300 Spartans!

Take it off and place it where you can admire it. Just give it the odd shake or extra pronounced arm swing on your visits to the bathroom. Oh and don't forget to put it back on.

Used to take it off at the desk, now I couldn’t care less. Swirl away, I have some pretty big ones from the desk. The clasp and top side of bracelet look like I work in construction and bottom is practically brand new. You’ll get over it soon enough. The scratches are inevitable, just enjoy it.
