What can I say? I like rubber.

Just visited the AP store in Manhattan.

Incredible service. Absolutely awesome I’m fact.

And as beautiful as the bracelet is, I just love rubber straps. I was originally going for black. But I just put the 5726 on black rubberb. And blue is my favorite color (excluding dial). Besides, this is such a dark blue, you almost can’t tell.

I was planning, because the bracelet is so nice, to quickly put the bracelet back on. But after seeing this and the comfort...

What can I say? I just like rubber.

I honestly don’t know. But it sure looks like it.

The longer this is on my wrist, the more I like it.

Damn...

I dunno man.... you like it and that's all that really matters but.... I feel the royal oak belongs on nothing else but it's beautiful bracelet. I do think with the OR however, a brown or black leather strap can look nice.

Weirdly enough, I agree completely with you.

But the heart wants what the heart wants. And I love it like this.

Agreed. I’m in the same camp.

Seth, just curious, what did the kit set you back?

Damn! I love the look but I couldn’t part with that kind of cash for a rubber strap.

Majority of that will be the buckle, plus the plots and then the strap.

BTW looking good Seth, I’m contemplating doing it with the ROC.

You can save about 400-500 by getting the pin buckle instead of deployant. Rubber is awesome in my ROC.

My wife just saw it and said it looks amazing.

Trust me, she’s not shy if she thinks I messed up.

And she agreed it’s much more “me”.

Love that on on rubber... I do wish they would make a pin buckle for that set up, I think it would be even more comfortable
Looks good!

Some have mentioned a pin buckle - this is different than the Diver pin buckle I assume right?

But love the new look!

That looks fantastic Seth! I don't wear mine enough off the bracelet to go full conversion. I got the rubber b one for around $300 and change If I remember correctly.

Is velcro secure? It is one of my concerns.. Otherwise I'd go for it.

Extremely, there's no way it will come off if its not done intentionally and with force. That was my concern too. I don't even use the rubber loops it comes with. I have an offshore on OEM and the rubber is identical.

Agree with this strap being a great look. Velcro closure is a matter of personal preference but no denying it’s functionality.

The strap design itself is absolutely in keeping.
