Welcome to the forum.

Have you gone to an AD to see what fits your style and budget?

For a new watch, I would choose the GMT II 116710LN. I work in a computer company, and all our changes are scheduled using GMT. GMT would be handy for that, but I would choose it mainly because I already have a sub no date, and I would add something a bit different

As we all have subjective tastes here (one will tell you to get a Sub and another will say go Explorer II), have you looked around and seen any YOU like? Any models that speak to you or you find yourself staring at? What is the watch used for? Daily? Dressy? Diving or spelunking?

My advice is always get what you want for your wrist; it’s your money and your watch. But we will all be happy to help you hone in and give you our advice if you narrow it down.

A Submariner or GMT-II. Both solid watches that wear well and retain value.

Ditto that, the only problem is availability at MSRP, but I would definitely go for one of those.

If I could actually find one, a white dialled Daytona 116500. If you wanted to spend the whole lot, I would actually be tempted by the new two tone rootbeer GMT, not usually my thing but i think it looks great!

Do you want a dive watch, a chronograph, an annual calendar?

I would start with a SUBMARINER 116613 or a YACHT-MASTER 116622

The 10k range can get you a wide range of steel watches in the rolex catalog. The real challenge is the availability and supply situation. So as others suggested I would visit the ad and check the rolex website then make a move.

In general you can't go wrong with a submariner or a GMT master 2

I prefer the older references; so a 14060 submariner and a 16234 Datejust.

Sorry, I missed that you already have a Datejust, so if you stretch your budget just a bit a 16570 Explorer II and a 14060 Submariner.

I think that this is good advice, but I would go a little bit further and advise not to let that $10k burn a whole in your pocket.

Put the money aside and continue to do your research and when you know full well which watch you really want without having to ask the opinions of strangers, you'll have that cash and perhaps even more to spend on your next acquisition.

Try vintage rollies. Go to momentum dubai at dubai international finance center. A lot of vintage rolex there.

I would get a 16600 and Speedmaster ... you won’t ever need another watch again as those two are about as perfect as it gets and within $10k for both in good used condition

Submariner or gmt. Get new or get a used 2 tone of either price. I think buying new from the store would be more fun for you
