That’s cool.
Didn’t know it’s available to the public unlike the Rolex clock.
Where can I purchase one?

I think many years ago this older generation were available to the public to buy but the newer ones are given out as gifts to good customers. Your best bet is to keep an eye out on eBay

I know that these clocks are extremely popular but I’ve never understood the appeal, after all they’re intended to be used in a boutique. There’s no workmanship to speak of in the movement as it’s battery operated.

I wouldn’t know where to put a clock like this in my own house, this something you’d put in your kitchen? A garage with a nice tiled floor and two or three very nice cars, artwork on the walls and an AP clock could work but I’m struggling to imagine it beyond that.

Ash I couldn’t agree more with you, the clock is a novelty more than anything. And if I’m honest it is a bit ugly and wouldn’t belong in a nicely designed kitchen etc..

As you say it belongs in a nice garage or office, mine shall take up residence in my man room!

Agreed, I just don't understand why these seem so desired - perhaps its partly because you can't get them, as AP (generally) don't release them to customers.

Totally agree. Desired one for a bit but then had a good look and thought it really doesn't have much going for it. Plus my wife would never allow it to be hung up in any wall of our house (garage aside )

I do prefer the calendar clock version - but it’s a fun object for sure as opposed to more. I think I recall seeing a desk clock size version which would be neat for the office.

The Atmos clocks on the other hand from JLC are true works of art (and mechanical excellence too)
