On the hunt for my first...
On the hunt looking to add my first AP and getting close. I have always liked the 26170 Panda. Just something about the red and white/silver dial. But lately I have been also interested in the 26470 "Vampire" and " Elephant". Does anybody have any thoughts on these? Bracelet or strap? Unfortunately, we don't have an AP AD in the Detroit area and I haven't even tried on on yet.

Have you seen or considered the new 42mm black and red ROO with CE bezel ?
Tried one on the other day at the boutique and was seriously impressed. Maybe an upgrade for my diver at some point in the future ! N.B. There are some better pics about the forum without plastics on it. But even through that it’s still stunning.

The 26170st Panda is a great piece, IMHO. I think it looks perfect on the bracelet.
It’s discontinued, so an AD won’t be useful in finding one, but they are readily available from used dealers |

On the hunt for my first...
Quote:
I have tried both and owned the Vampire for a while (eventually sold when I bought 44mm offshore). Both are cool in person but the elephant was a little washed out for me on the wrist. For the vampire, I personally like it more with the steel bezel rather than ceramic. AP also has many many bracelet options so you can get many options to change how it looks, including rubber. The vampire and elephant were discontinued but there are a couple brand new ones out there at authorized dealers in the US. Can’t go wrong with either! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
