Polishing Cloth

Hi Guys!

I purchased a horo safe polishing cloth, that seems to work well with all my watches.

Is there a limit to how many times I can use it, can it damage my watches in any way?

Thanks!

Personally, I use the cloths you use for cleaning the lenses on your glasses (perscription or sunglasses).

I have noticed that with repeat washings of the cloth, they become not as soft and wouldn't be surprised if they are responsible for the very faint swirls on the polished parts of the case and links.

In the end it's hard to pin-point as the swirls can be attributed to anything from putting on a shirt, to a jacket, to using papertowels to dry your hands after washing.

I think you're being un-realistic if you are trying to eliminate swirls and scratches from your watch.

By all means, try out the cloths you are mentioning, but eventually you will get swirls and scratches on your watch and there's nothing you can do about it unless you NEVER wear the watch in public and keep it in it's box all the time.

the website says a horo cloth is 100 times finer than microfibre. sounds good to me. pro photogs use their breath and a microfibre to clean their mucho $$$ lenses. i don't see why nanofibre would hurt a watch?
