2008 vs 2013 Milgauss

Hello everyone, I've been planing on buying my first Rolex for a while now, I've finally got enough money and decided on the Milgauss , I've found two options, a 2008 and a 2013 models, they both have not been serviced yet, both at the same condition with the 2013 one costing 400$ more, so is the year difference worth the 400$ or not considering I probably have to service the 2008 one pretty much immediately

Ask the seller how it tells time and what the power reserve time is. I have an 08 Milgauss - it remains within +2 per day. It has never been serviced.

If it were me, I'd buy the seller first and then the watch. If all is equal then I'd move onto what's more important in my decision. Sounds like it could be a financial one. I would send the 2008 in for service immediately if I was considering that one so I'd go for the 2014 so I wouldn't have to deal with the immediate pain in the ass. For that reason, I'd use the 2014 price and the lack for immediate service, along with the cost of the immediate service and pain in the ass for sending it away for 6-8 weeks right out of the shoot as leverage to lower the price on the 2008. If the 2008 price won't lower his price to what I'd feel comfortable with, I'd grab the 2014.

I'd go for the newer random/rehaut serial no. Plus it's 5 years of less wear on the bracelet etc.
