Self regulating Tudor in-house movement MT5612
I am familiar with the Rolex instructions on self regulation by resting the watch in different positions to gain or loose a few seconds but i am wondering if Tudor has published any info for their in house movement to self regulate ? I am loosing a consistent 2 seconds per day which i feel is very acceptable but if i could easily gain them back by simply resting the watch a certain way i would love to try it. I have tried using the Rolex guide and no positions they recommend seem to change the speed.

To answer your question, I haven't seen any such recommendations.
But I have heard that the positional adjustments you're referring to have more effect on the older movements and less so on the newer ones...with the conclusion that there probably is not going to be much effect on your watch with the newer in-house movement. Not much help here, sorry. |

i wouldn't sweat over 2 sec a day loss. Set your watch 30 seconds fast on the 1st of the month and by the 30th you'll only be 30 seconds slow thus you shouldn't be off by more than 30 seconds of "extreme" accuracy during the month and by the 15th you should be spot on.

For perfection you need to know how YOUR watch runs in different positions at different states of wind , ( high amplitude/ low amplitude ) Once you know this you will be able to rest your watch in the correct position to bring the time in sync with an Atomic clock. This is how my 218235 runs at full wind, and -24 hours.. if I need it to loose a few seconds over night I place it pendant position “Crown Right” If I need it to maintain I place it pendant position “Crown Down”. Every watch has its own personality, you just need to understand your watch’s personality. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
