1st service for 15400OR
First post - Im a newb so take it easy fellas!
I have a 15400OR purchased from an AD new in 2013. It has never been serviced or inspected. It has normal wear no major dings. it has the gator band. These are my questions: 1. Do they keep my card on file and bill me after the work is done? 2. what if anything do they do to the gator band? 3. Considering having them install the OEM Rubber strap, what clasp do they use and how is it sized? I appreciate your help in advance! here is a photo I took last night: |

Hey man. I actually sent my 15400.OR for its first service earlier this year. My watch was also purchased at the boutique in 2013. They will have your card on file, but will charge you when your watch returns from the APSC. Mine took roughly 6 weeks. I purchased the rose gold bracelet and had it installed. I still own the brown leather strap abut im insure of how much work they do on it. In my case they re-finished the deployment clasp to "like new" conditions. Hope this helps and welcome to the forum.

1st service for 15400OR
You can easily treat the gator band yourself with some Saphir Reptan Creme. It’s amazing it’s lasted so long !
The watch is still super mint ! Goes to show APs don’t have to be scratch magnets. Are you having timekeeping issues with the watch, or just sticking to the prescribed schedule ?

Just an update.
AP NA in Clearwater is sending me a kit with a shipping slip that includes insurance at no charge. Then they will evaluate and quote me. The OR band was 18,175 brand new during the time of service. I am not going to get it though. In regards to the condition of my watch, I removed a few scratches via photoshop TBH. |

Interesting. I got my 15400OR last year so I won't have to do service for awhile but I would be interested to add the bracelet at a later time. However for over $20k CAD it's highly debatable...

Mine just arrived at APSC this week. Complete maintenance service is $1500 and case and buckle refinish is $210. That’s not including tax. Shipping is free. :-) That pricing is straight off my proposal from yesterday.
