New 15407 Openworks

Very disappointing to see the one with the baguette diamond bezel not in platinum. I will have to stick with the steel and my jeweler is finishing up a custom baguette invisible set diamond on a factory 15400 bezel i purchased from the service centre. I wonder now if the production of the whole openwork / calibre 3132 now increases as it has to. There are now multiple references that use the calibre so maybe some more incomings this year? Does anyone know if the pricing for the new watches are available to see in your region? would like to know what they're charging for these two. I would estimate the white gold & diamond bezel around $92k and the frosted gold $85k? I know the rose gold is not in much 'hype' as the steel variant so im not suprised nothing came out in that metal. If the frosted does well, then rose gold will follow.

I’m guessing just less and less 407ST. AP is like hey they finally appreciate the OW line? Let’s make them all 100k lol

IMHO, only one openworks worth considering.

New 15407 Openworks

I always thought the openworked needed just a baguette diamond bezel and they come out with it. If it was in platinum i think i could make it my only watch as thats a real grail. Im excited to place it on my ST when its finished. I would never set diamonds into the case or bracelet like all the jewelers of NYC have been doing and selling to rappers. I watched one video where a rapper with an iced out 15407ST kept saying it was white gold! Guess the jeweler added 20-30k to his price and he doesn’t know

For me, the diamonds and frost just bring this to mind, so I'll stick with the ST

The frosted openwork looks incredible. My favorite release for this year.

They cannot keep up with the demand of the 15407 so why make this extra bling piece that most of us here will not be interested in.

Because i believe Francois has been told that every rapper in America has completely iced out the openworked line so why not make some extra money by getting into it yourself? Although the original limited editon frosted white gold 41mm blue dial sold out, you can get it below retail so im not sure how that one will do. I think as mentioned anove the baguette diamond invisible set bezel is the only upgrade on this piece other than a platinum case/bracelet. Very interested at what these are priced at. If its higher than my estimation then these will be easy to get (unless very few are made)

tangentially related, i never realized that the double balance feature of the open works also came in the 37mm model...altho only in PM.

i wonder why AP added this to the 41 and 37, but not the 39mm (15305).

Because they moved away from the 39mm. It is reserved for the jumbo 15202. 37mm is for women/men as it appears in size like a rolex daytona. They have the model mm case size range they wanted. 37,39,41,42,44

And yes, the 37mm openworked cases the same calibre 3132 so you now have 7 variants of the openworked model with the same calibre, just in different finishes. Production numbers which have been Speculated around 200-300 has to increase and if not, the 15407ST is going to push past $80k US (which ive heard some people have paid more)

There is a big market for it. The Migos will be pleased
