I see a lot of people doing this online. I’m guessing it’s younger individuals. Most here will hate the look. I think it can work in certain situations as long as it is subtle. These beads look a bit on the large side, but I’m assuming some of that is due to the up close photo. Probably does not present quite as large in person.

A watch should command the wrist on its own. If you need beads to accessorize, might be time to find a better watch. Just my 2 pesos.
