Looks fantastic. Hope it is obtainable, and not a LE. Ref number?

Potentially very interesting. I've been hoping they'd issue the 42 with 44 style streamlined pushers rather than the awful stick ones. Its the only thing that's prevented me buying a 42 in the past.

Titanium case I think. Solid caseback on this one...makes sense with how they usually treat this movement:

First the CE bezel, now the pushers, looks like the 42s are going to go full 44 in future. Not sure about the subdials, numbers seem squeezed in.

Baby offshore, if only the used the tachymeter instead of the normal 60 counters this watch will be perfect.

Probably a limited edition we have to wait and see, but this is extremely beautiful the 44 style pushers are just perfect on the 42.

It's great ... but why would anybody buy a chrono now when you know the movement will be replaced next year/s.

Because it's still a great watch? It could take years for the new movement to proliferate into different offshore models and colors. Also not everyone needs or wants the latest and greatest. Besides new chrono hasn't been tested long term for issues or reliability.

The FP 1185 in the ROC and the 3126 in the ROOC are such rock solid tried and true movements. Having said that..........I would have loved to see a movement they were proud of that they could display with a Clear case back on the ROC. |

I’m just happy the numbers on the dial are gone. Hopefully not a limited edition and hopefully the new Chrono only takes a year snd not 4 or 5 to filter in!

No one knows the reliability of the new movement yet. So a F.P movement in a 42mm ROO with new pushers. Sign me up! (Praying the price is right) |

The dial looks a little too busy for my taste but I love the idea of a novelty 42mm. Will have to wait and see the future color combos they come up with.
