You're in the Phillipines. What's a SDDS going for over there if you convert to US dollars????

In Canada it goes for $9950.

Price in H.K

Back over Chrismas New year the price was around $15,000.00 AUS so you would do better to go shopping here in AUS, whilst our price here is $11,995.00.
Enjoy.

Unfortunately, the dealer here has yet to get his allocation and is not saying how much he would sell it. Normally though, luxury watches cost less here than in your part of the world. It could be due to tax differences.

Could it also be standard of living? I hear 60% of the population lives in absolute poverty. The average wage per month is $150 US.

What kind of 1st class industry does the Phillipines have? I know it can't be banking and finance as I'm in that here in Canada and I've looked for stuff like this in the Phillipines and it's just not there. I'm assuming everything is in manufacturing?

Though I find your comments on the state of the Philippine economy way off line from the topic of this forum, much less this post, I am tempted to respond to what I feel is a first world slight against us in the third world?

I wonder what you mean about the absence of banking and finance in the Philippines---do you actually believe that we don't have banks here and we keep our money in caves. Shame on you. In fact, none of our banks need the bailout that you in the west are providing your bankrupt banking system.

While it is true that the poverty incidence here remains high versus western standards, I find it shameful that I see bums in your cities that are completely neglected by your supposedly wealthy government and society. And I find it moronic to equate lower prices of luxury watches here, which is a fact as I bought almost all my collection here and have compared their prices when I get a chance to visit there, with the economic condition of the place. Except of course if you suggest that the Rolexes, IWCs, Pateks that are sold here are of lower quality than the ones sold in your country. Plainly stupid!

Let me just be clear that my response is only directed at you and not the countless good people I have met in my numerous trips there. Certainly wimps like you are an exception rather than the rule.

My AD had a DSSD last december and it was P450k.

P.S. Huwag mo na pansinin yung gago na yan! Medyo tactless talaga yan

Hey, don't blame me. I can only respond via what I've heard from friends who've gone there on vacations and all of the documentaries about sex-tourism.

Fact is, I have a Fillipino friend of the family (who's also a politician here in Canada) who keeps trying to convince me to take a Fillipino wife and tells me the shape of the country.

I also have to wonder at the state of your economy when ex-pats are climbing all over themselves to come here to do care-giver services.

I've also heard about the exploitation problems with regards to care-givers being taken advantage in Jordan for $400 a month and no breaks.

I guess I'm just hearing things.

As for the quality of Rolex watches. They're all made in Geneva.

Morons, idiots and pea-brains just don't get it. Sadly you're all of the three.

Good day

What has your answer got to do with the price of the dssd in Honk Kong, I think you have missed the point by a mile

I was just there this afternoon and the SRP is HK$68,500 w/c is about US$8,830. Standard discount they give is 8% but does not apply to the DSSD since it's a popular model at the moment.

Dude was trying to slam me on a simple inquiry.

I wasn't going to stand for it.

Why's he on the defensive?
