Icon17 More Google Chart Porn

Out of curiosity, I downloaded a some data on Rolex watch model queries from Google Insights to see what watches are the most searched on Google as a percentage of Google queries for Rolex watch models. No Cellini stuff! The period of time searched is 2004 thru 2008.

It's interesting to see how new models impact queries on others. If there are any models I left out, lemme know and I'll dig 'em up when I get time. Enjoy!

Looks like no real change, except for the Milgauss being added to the fray.

Increase in Milgauss is dramatic, looks like Daytona searches are dropping in % ...interesting.

SDDS got a high % of search considering it didn't really "hit the public" till latter part of 2008.

That is pretty interesting. How else can the data be sliced and diced?

Looks like whenever there is a new model release, the queries spike up -
2007 - GMT master
2006 - YM2
2007 - Milgauss
2008 - Deepsea.

Because of the price increases they're getting to be to expensive for a lot of folks to afford.

Believe it or not, the search volumes are going up a little bit, after declining in 2005 and 2006.

Year Searches
2004 25,001
2005 23,886
2006 22,048
2007 26,822
2008 28,340
