New SS tool watches

I'm interested in a new Hulk or Pepsi GMT. How long would I have to wait from a AD and if that's not practical what other options do I have?

There are a lot of variables here, but since you're asking, I'll assume a bit. Hulk, probably a couple of months to maybe a year. Pepsi, a lot longer than that.

As for other options, you can either pay way over retail and buy grey, or you can buy a bunch of stuff you don't want (or maybe do?) from the AD to give them some incentive to get you one quickly.

Here in Vancouver waitlist is no longer available. Only way to get a Hulk or Pepsi from an AD is to spend a certain amount of money.

Either buy it from grey dealers or spend the money quoted to you by the AD.

Rolex has a really nice portfolio of watches, are these really the only two watches you are interested in? Have you thought about, researched, looked or tried on other watches?

Asumming you can get on list with AD that you have relationship with. The better the relationship the better those wait times will be

Otherwise you’re not getting ever from that AD

Other Option go Grey and pay market value and call it a day

I've been quoted longer on both. I'm being told at least 2 years on the LV and no hope for a BLRO because they're just not coming in.

If you're looking for tool watches, try the Tudor BB and BBGMT as an alternative.

Well I like the Sub also, but I have a GMT right now so I wanted something different that has some wrist presents. I prefer the Pepsi, but the Hulk is a close second. I also like the Batman, but it isn't much different than the solid black.

Would love a Hulk. Way better than the Kermit. Cannot understand the demand for old Kermits.

I wonder of people would be so interested if these were easy to get...

I have to applaud Rolex for pulling this off. The current situation is a triumph of marketing if there ever was one.

You don't need to wonder, they were very easy to get, they are niche colors and you would often find BLNRs and LVs sitting in display cases or windows. Sad that some think having a hot or hyped watch makes them cool

If you want something different than what you have you can try Datejust 41, Explorer II , Yachtmaster, Milgaus or Airking. MG and YM and have great wrist presence so does a TT Sub and even more so the YM II and DSSD.

Search a little please, I am sure you find 15-20 same threads.

The alternative is to buy from a gray dealer. The wait time will totally depend on your AD.

You joined this forum 11 years ago and you are asking that rookie question?
Call around and get on lists. If your patience wears thin and you are willing to pay a premium, go the secondary market route. Simple as that. The watches are easy to find if you are willing to pay.
