Flip OP39 White Dial For Datejust 41??
Well, I have flipped more watches than I would like to admit over the past year, for some reason nothing has seemed to stick other than my Submariner 114060. Started with a Tudor Blackbay Red Bezel, sold for a Speedy, sold that for the OP39 white dial and here I am again...
I wanted the OP39 as an every day piece to compliment the Sub. I have been feeling that it just wears small on my 7.5 inch wrist, and doesn't "wow" me like I thought it would. I have felt like a million bucks every time I strap on the Sub, but I want something a little more formal that fits under a shirt cuff. Am I crazy to sell the OP39 for a Datejust 41? I am thinking smooth bezel + jubilee (Fluted is great, but probably more flashy that I am comfortable with). I think the DJ would be a good blend of a comfortable watch to alternate with the Sub. Might consider picking up an oyster bracelet so I have both down the road as well. I want a solid 2 piece collection, but is this playing it too safe / boring? Luckily, my AD has been great and have offered to trade the OP back without TOO much of a loss. Only really interested in the rhodium or blue dial, what do you think? Of course I will buy what I like, but I am having a hard time figuring out what exactly that is, haha! Thanks in advance. |
