Newbie Question
With Basel looming..what is the typical reaction with watches that get updated. Say a new sub is introduced..is there an increase of supply of the “old” subs at ADs? Or does the older version simply disappear?
Sorry if this has been covered, but as a newbie, I was just wondering. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not sure there are old subs bro. But if there were, it would get sold as old stock.

Your profile says you joined in 2011 - how is it that you’re a newbie?
With all the hijacking of accounts going on, it’s a fair question... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Once a model has been discontinued the price jumps through the roof. The Flippers on this board go into a buying Frenzy and try to get as many as they can.

Great question - I’m assuming I signed up when I first got the watch itch and it took me this long to finally jump into the Rolex pool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The old ones that are left will trickle their way through the system and eventually be sold off. They'll never completely disappear, though...they will be "rare" and "discontinued" to be had a great premium.
Nice SD, by the way. |
