AP at Watches and Wonders

Had the chance to stop by watches and wonders in Miami this weekend. AP has a big booth this year showcasing the code 11:59. Some pics below for you guys.

And a couple other favorites...

Thanks for sharing. What is the size of your wrist?
And I guess the 15500 comes closer to the first RO as the 15400 if I take a look at the dial. Could it be?

Perhaps it’s just the photo, but the legibility of the black 3 hand 11.59 looks terrible. That 15202 is something else though!

This is one of the few straight on shots of the 1159 Code that I've seen. Most photos have been at the bottom angle of the 4:00 or 7:00.

Thanks for sharing!

6.5” wrist. The way the hour markers are angled on the edges on both the 15400 and 15500. It makes them catch a lot more light than a 5402 or 15202. I still think the lack of “automatic” wording makes the dial feel a bit bare on the lower half.

Legibility isn’t great. I was trying really hard to keep an open mind but it’s really not for me. The RO is something that is unique and special. The code 11:59 just seems too regular for me. The crystal is cool but the overall package doesn’t do it for me.

The contrast between the photos of the Code 11:59 and the lovely ALS pieces was pretty stark for me. The ALSs looked great... the Code not so much

Not surprising that anyone who isn't paid by AP thinks the 11.59 is a flop.

Makes it really easy to spot shills for sure.

Thanks, the 42 ROO looks good, altho looks almost the same size as the 44s, and the 202 is nice whatever the dial colour really is. Code looks very dark there.

I know this is an AP thread but I got to see the VC overseas tourbillon and perp on my wrist. The watch magazines only published information on them less than a week ago.

I have to say, having never owned a VC watch, that the overseas is really beautiful. Beautiful movement, easily interchangeable bracelet, strap, rubber and even has an expansion clip for humid weather. Considering that AP and PP are selling for almost ridiculous amounts, this lesser-known of the holy Trinity is an amazing value. May be my next watch purchase.

It was also great people watch watching.
