Tkbarger has disappeared from ebay like a fart in the wind! I'm..

talking no sign that he ever even existed on ebay, or at all for that matter. I don't have a clue how he could disappear without a trace. The feedback I left for him is gone from my "feedback left for others" section. I'm not talking about he's suspended or "no longer registered". I mean he has disappeared like. he never existed. Unf@#%ing believable.

That is really disturbing. Not that he is gone but that he never existed!

He has existed - if you look up ebay user ID Paratroop45, that is where that account came from, whose account he stole. Ebay returned the account to the rightful owner and deleted all of the feedback left for this guy. I am working feverishly to get all authorities involved as he got me pretty good too, for over 10k.

I was scammed for $3500 by a ring in Canada...turned out it was a halfway-house and one guy was teaching all the others the art of internet fraud. I filed a report locally, filed with the Royal Police and contacted the district where the fraud had occurred. Turned out the officer who called me back knew the guy from previous experience, knew he was in a halfway-house and went and arrested the guy. They seized all the donated computers and the guy was sent back to prison for violating the rules of his parole. AT LAST a scammer was caught...well he got 90 days for parole violation and no other charges were ever filed. Mosco, I certainly undertand your frustration, but the truth is these guys are probably already in the Russian legal system and are probably working with full knowledge of the local police. Even if the guys are caught, all the folks that lost money will never see a dime. I certainly agree with pusuing evry possible avenue to stop these people, but the chances of recovering any money are virtually nill...Just my experience my friend. I wish you luck!

Hey, Craig! Good to hear from you again!

You know, truthfully, getting money back is not the objective. Although it would be nice. I just want to burn this guy, burn him badly. I have several people in Russia working on it - luckily I still have ties with some very resourceful folks there. Even if it takes years - he cannot hide forever and if he is found, a plane ticket is a small price to pay. I WILL find him, hopefully the law can find him first.

Buy only from people you know or through a reliable connection. That is my policy.

You are much safer then. And always be wary of deals too good to be true.

i bought close to 200 watches off of ebay over the last year. If you..

are going to buy off ebay MAKE SURE YOU USE PAYPAL. when they say the purchase is fully covered they mean it. 4 out of all those watches were fakes and they reimbursed me every single penny. And if you purchase a watch and it is never delivered (tracking), you will CERTAINLY BE REIMBURSED BY PAYPAL If your unsure of the watch being delivered, open it in front of the postal carrier with a phone pic and a witness (the carrier).

Mosco...I hope you do find these people. At this point money is not an issue...personally I feel violated. If I had the resources the guys in Canada would never been heard from again. After your burned this deeply all you really want is to get even. You have been a good friend and I pray you get your satisfaction.

Paypal as well as ebay are not covering nothing!!!! A member sold me 1000 dollars, paid with paypal, than never shipped. After filing, paypal did accepted my report but guess what, never paid me back!!! They claim they will give me back the money if they can recover it from the guy...what a scam!!!

Thank you for sharing your experiences and sorry to hear about your losses. Really hope you find some way of getting justice. I came to this part of the forum to learn how to avoid this and it helps big time.
