Seadweller 4000 ceramic

My seadweller 4000 helium escape valve is the same colour as the case . Is this normal as normally it looks gray.

The HEV on my 116600 has a distinctly different, unpolished, grey appearance compared to the highly polished case. DavidSW currently has one for sale on his site and if you scroll through the photos you’ll see one that clearly shows the diffence in finish between the case and HEV. Hope this helps.

That means it was polished. The hev should be a dark matte grey.

That's what I thought, it seems it was polished as it matches the case now.

What is the original finish? It isn’t brushed...is it bead blasted?

There's definitely some contrast!!! I thing mine's broken as the little triangle thingy isn't at the top of the watch.
