Crystal on 1601 Datejust
I recently picked up a 1601 DJ from the early 70s and the cyclops appears to have a scuff on it. Is this like my Speedy hesalite where I can rub some polywatch on it to clean it up? Or were the cyclops made of a different material?
And if this is not something that can be buffed out, is a replacement crystal fairly easy and cheap to acquire? And since everyone loves pictures . . . |

Yes, polywatch will take of the scratch on an acrylic crystal. Toothpaste, the original style, works great as well...at a fraction of the cost.

Great. I already own some polywatch. I figured it would work on the crystal but wasn't sure if the cyclops was made of a different material.
