Ap 15300

I have been looking for a 15300 blue dial and was able to find a watch with minor scratches and no major dents.

What would be the reasonable price for this piece?

I know 39mm is very sought after but prices have been crazy thesedays.

Thank you for your feedbacks in advance.

Not too many for sale. Trusted seller has one for 25k but recently serviced. I would say low 20's in todays market. Service will probably run another $1,500.

It's a beauty, good luck!

I saw his and hope he sells at that price. For 25K, I still wouldn't sell mine.

Tough to find. Good luck! In some ways I find the 15300 more practical, with screw down crown and seconds hand. Also helps that they are cheaper than a Jumbo.

HQ Milton (Jacek) had one for sale only a few days ago. I think it was around $19K. Sold very quickly.

These may be as or more rare than Nautilus, based on AP v PP annual build estimates. They're just not a PP which does not make them inferior IMO; in fact, some may think they have better features than PP's sport classic. Doubt there's any good ones left under $20k.

15300 has always been on the top of my list and it's certainly not easy to find one with good condition.
So, like you said, I do agree that price will go over $20K but market has been insane thesedays.

I had a white face 15300 and was told by AP they could switch the dial to blue for a reasonable cost at service. Unfortunately the service was done by the time I found out. Maybe could be an option if you can find a white or black at 16-17k and see if you can swap out vs paying the mid 20’s where they seem to be trending towards.

Thanks for the tip. Haven't thought about that way.
I found a 15300 blue dial that I want to go for and might get a white dial to replace later.

Wondering if a dial change to blue (from black or white) affects its value. I’ve seen a few blue 300’s that were previously white. Would you rather opt for a black or white 15300 with correct reference in certificate or a blue but was dial swapped by AP?

I saw one that had both for sale around the time when I bought my white face. AP gives you back the white dial but it wasn’t trading for much more. Likely won’t resell for the blue original price but could be an option if set on the blue dial to wear.
