Question..
No matter the subject matter, would you rather read an article, or watch a video on it?
I am a news hound and more and more I see videos, in lieu of an article in print. Hate it. You? |

Read. Unless it’s one of those “articles” you have to click 10 times.
I don’t bother with top 10 this or that |

Hate videos on news sites, especially the auto-play ones. Give me print.

Video unless it means watching commercials first then print.

I would much rather read an article. I still get the newspaper every morning and dread the day that I’ll no longer have that option.

I prefer reading if it’s shorter in length.
It’s funny you asked this. I use the “News” app on my iPhone mostly for news. Most of them I read the articles, but the NPR article had an audio button to play that at the top. I read for a bit and then listened to the audio version. I much preferred the audio version as NPR does such a nice job at it. The video versions of the news, especially the CNN ones, usually are not that good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I prefer pictures... this is probably why I gravitated towards gentlemens magazines early in life. Now i gravitate towards videos

Depends on my interest level in the subject. If interested I prefer to read. If little interest then a short video will suffice.

I think media sites go to video so they don't have to pay for writers.
On NHL hockey sites some of them are almost all video now AND when you click on them, "sorry not available in your area". I prefer writers. |

Prefer to read news. Although most news is not news anymore...

I watch a lot of Television News.
I record the evening news and BBC to keep things in perspective. I'm not down with --- news and ---facts!

I would rather read print with most everything. However, if it something I am trying to learn or do, like work on my truck, I would rather see a video - I am a visual learner for tasks.
