Hi i am wanting a bit of advise from you guys,would you buy a rolex without the box and papers,the person selling the watch has got a certificate from rolex service saying it was done nov 09,the watch is price is £6k

did you mean 2008? IMHO If its an older model that you really want, at the right price then that is fine. You can by a correct period box afterwards.

Ged can you give some more info as to the type/model of watch, year of make etc? It sounds like the watch in question had a service done in 11/08 right?

Does it look like this one (mind you you may find it in different variations like roman numerals etc)? These watches are quite expensive @ over 12k if i am right.
Make sure you have it checked at a RSC or AD before you buy and that condition is good (although after the service the watch should be looking like new). |

6K is a good price for a Pearlmaster! You should definitely have it checked before you buy though Ged!

If it's a private seller, then it's down to references. Lost or stolen check at Bexley and if you can, authentication at an AD.
