Tudor Oyster Prince Date Day 18K Solid Gol Watch

New list up north from me, Don't ever remember seeing one of these around and the strap has to be fake.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Tudor-Oyster-...3A1|240%3A1318

I remember looking at a range of Tudor watches in the mid 90's and this looks like the typical fake Rolex of the time but different dial? an the magnification on cyclops looks so wrong if any.

Opinions please, with a buy it now price of AU $2,490.00AUD am I going nuts?

Cheers.

Tudor bands are gold plated in the DayDate models...$2400 is way high. These watches bring $900-1100.00 depending on condition, boxes, papers, etc.

Honestly Terry without looking at the movement I could not tell you. I own the same watch, and one in stainless. The problem with the cyclops could be the picture or it could be a jewelers replacement, but my tu-tone looks exactly like this one down to the stailess on the back of the band.

Also I'm not sure of the rate of exchange but you can pick those up for about a grand with boxes and papers.

Hi ibsober,

$2400 converts out to around $1500USD

after doing a bit of looking around the watch could be legit, but as you say, without looking at the movement there's no sure way.

Cheers,

Dave.
