1/2 Link Placement on DSSD

Curious to how people have used the half link on the new DSSD. Just had it moved to the 6 O’clock side yesterday to better balance the bracelet. Asked for it to be placed as the last link before the clasp but they put it in as the second to last link. Wondering if there is a benefit or reason to put it in that spot? Thanks!

I used my half link at 6 o’clock and position it right next to clasp. As I recall the DSSD doesn’t come without half link and I had to purchase a Submariner half link

Doesn't look good this way and I would change it so the half link is closer to the clasp.

Agree. That looks horrid. I'm shocked the AD put it in where they did. Move it closer to the clasp or better yet, under the clasp closest to the glidelock.

Lazyness - or the screw on the last link beside the clasp was tight.

Looks messy - I'd have that moved asap

No point placing it under the clasp.

Bracelets are sized for placement on the 6 o'clock side. The 12 o'clock side is adjusted for tightness. If anyone needs a half link on the 12 o'clock side they either have a massive wrist or are doing it wrong

Totally agree with this, the half link belongs on the 6 side, if your wrist size and shape requires it for an optimal fit.

I moved mine so that I have 4 1/2 links there and it fits my 7 1/4 inch wrist like a glove, with the glidelock clasp adjusted as necessary for the 12 side.

Also agree that the half link belongs directly next to the clasp and not in the middle of the bracelet.

Ah, that makes sense since they also supply with the SD43.

I had the previous gen 116660 and had my AD source a Submariner half link for it.
