New Guy Wants to Thank Dan P.

Hi All,
As you can see I just registered and this is my first post on this forum.
I would like to use it to thank Dan Pierce.
After seeing a Tudor chrono post of his on another forum I just e-mailed him out of the blue and bombarded him with questions.
The next day Dan called me and we spent the better part of an hour talking watches and getting me educated on Tudor chronos.
Dan invited me over to this forum and mentioned that you guys like pics so here is one of my two favorite GMT's.

Unfortunately for me I don't get to wear either one of them any longer. The Heuer was sold when I got away from the vintage stuff and I lost the 16710 when my wife decided she liked "big" watches.

Best,
Mike

Welcome to TRF Mike! I like your wife already! I got a 16710 about a month ago and have a hard time taking it off.

So what are you wearing these days then?

Welcome, and yes, Dan is a real gentleman. I was in Kentucky on business last August, and while we never got to meet, I've found him to be a very polite and friendly gent here on the forum, very much like many of the people we met while in Ky.

Enjoy your time here,

Chris

Well since you asked and I never pass on an opportunity to show off my grail here it is

White gold with meteorite dial.
The two SS models don't get much wrist time but that is ok since I really bought them for my twins anyway.

Best,
Mike

Great to have you aboard, Mike! Love both of those GMT's. The Daytona's are all cool and the Meteorite dial WG is stunning.
Hope you enjoy your stay,
dP

Mike, nice entrance - 3 Grail Daytonas. Meteorite is stunning - White gold and out of this world dial!!!

Hang out here! Great place to be! My wife literally confiscated my SS Daytona - I have never worn it - I have to admit - It looks sooooo good on her - I honestly think it's gone forever... I am good just seeing "it" on her though...

Welcome!

Welcome aboard. Dan certainly has influenced a lot of wallets around here. Mine has been on diet since I saw his big block.
