Possible 16610 Pick up

I was thinking about picking up the attached sub. It's from the early nineties with box and papers. It has some scuffs on the bezel insert, but I thought everything else looked ok.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for the feedback.

Bezel insert is cheap to replace. Crown guards have been over-polished they shouldn’t be pointy.

I’d pass for that price. Your really close to a used no date ceramic at the price. My opinion is that $6250 would represent a more realistic purchase price.

You can find a later series complete set 16610 w/ engraved rehaut for that price. Plus the dial and hands will still have decent lume. More importantly, the bracelet 'should' be in far better condition than an early 90 ones.

I think if you can get closer to $7K, in this market it’s a good price. Maybe the crown guards are polished, the insert is a bit beat up, but hey, it’s a Sub! And a Rolex.
