ROO Diver---new or used?
Hello all. New forum member that is looking to take my first jump into AP. Love the history, movements, and the aesthetics. Also the size. I've got a 7.5 inch, very flat wrist, so the 42 and 44 mm cases fit me well.
I've always loved the diver in black. Had the chance to try one on this week at an AD. Almost pulled the trigger. But I hesitated as I've seen slightly used models going for $4-$5k less than retail. And it doesn't seem like there is any budging off retail? Is there any real tangible benefit to buying these new, or should I just save my money? I'd prefer a sapphire back, so ideally 1-2 years old. I know service is pricey, but with a new-ish I should still be good a few years. Though...I also had my eye on a slightly used Titanium ROO chrono. Which is my dream watch. I can tell this is going to be addicting...and expensive! |
