Inventory in Naha Okinawa

Anyone in this location, might take some time to visit some AD’s if there’s a chance of finding something special!

No it’s a question, I’m wanting to see if anyone knows how the inventory is.

It's going to be the same like anywhere else in the world... little to zero SS professional watches.... especially in a market place like Japan. Anyone reason why you think it will be different?

If someone did say there is a Daytona C, BLRO, BLNR, etc. (which I assume is what you are referring to as "something special") in the display case, do you think it is going to be there by the time you arrive?

Unless you are in the city currently, chances are slim. (and if you are already there... quit wasting time asking a forum and head to the ADs yourself... go go go!)

Will be there within the hour and Okinawa is not a typical destination for people going to Japan. (Not mainland)

Rolex is hugely popular all over Japan from Okinawa to Hokkaido. You'll be lucky to find anything. Lots of US military too. Good luck though

I was at that AD in 1986. I bought a Submariner after winning a bet by breaking 6 plates of ice at a bar.

How many posts similar to this are you going to do?

These days ADs don’t have “special” watches sitting available in windows. They are for VIPs and well known customers with previous history (or bundling)

When I was here a month ago there was nothing. One grey seller had Hulk and SD43 but at stellar prices. I was glad, cos then I didn’t spend on any watches.

I needed that laugh!

Update, no inventory at the AD but plenty of availability at grays 18k USD for a Batman though.

Which gray shop did you see? I saw the few pieces at Don Quijote. What about you?
