Yes it’s not a Rolex
Well gents I made the move and purchased my second automatic, it’s a Tudor Heritage BB as pictured and I should have it in about a week and will let you know how it looks, I know some say it’s a poor mans Rolex but I handled one at the local AD and liked the way it felt so I tried to work a deal with them but they were firm on the pricing so I went Grey and we will see.
Here are some pics, I don’t think these are the actual watch but am assured by the seller that it’s brand new with all factory packaging and warranty dated 01/2019 https://photos.app.goo.gl/jjmcawHeC9vX3EkE9 |

it's not a "poor man's rolex". that's simply the way snobs can boost their watch. tudors are great watches.

They are great watches!! I've had a number and finally decided they are a bit large for my wrist. For me I'd want the BB58.

Definitely not a poor man's Rolex. Tudors are great timepieces with a great horological history. Enjoy your new watch and wear it in good health. I love my Tudor as much as my Rolex.

Tudor makes an excellent watch. Had a Tudor Black Bay for a while, and the only reason I moved it onward was the lack of a date complication. That aside I'd own another Tudor if another model absolutely called out to me.

I’m wearing my BB GMT with pride and find it more appealing than a 216710BLRO. Better vintage look and less bling. And it has a better WR and runs for 70 hours. But just my opinion. Having said that, I love my Sea-Dweller and Explorer as well. |

Whether you consider it a poor man's Rolex or not, it's a great watch and you get a lot of watch for your money.
I have the black version and it is more "playful" in my view than my Rolex sub no date. Very similar, yet very different and I enjoy them both for what they are. Enjoy it! |

I saw these in person recently and I was quite impressed with the quality and feel. None of them called out to me (yet) but I also don't call it a "poor man's Rolex". It is what it is, no excuses needed.
Congrats!

That will set you above the crowded field of Sub owners who wish a red bezel insert was in their watch.
It will keep good time, be as robust and serve a lifetime... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Same or similar in build quality to a 5 digit series Sub?
Company owned by Rolex along with service centers. What's not to like? |

If it's a poor man's Rolex, why do so may Rolex owners on this site also own Tudors???
Two very different brands and more than enough room to accommodate both. Congrats! |

Thanks gents for the compliments, when I finally woke up and got past the running slightly fast with my DJII ( thanks padi56) I am just starting to enjoy my Rolex DJII even though it’s been a consistent 3 secs fast every day so I started look at other watches and Tudor really caught my eye and the 70 hrs in the new movement is a big plus.
I have heard several say Tudors are a poor mans Rolex but I purchased it because I liked the way it looked on my wrist at the local AD but they would not budge on the price so I shopped grey and got a really great price and factory warranty dated Jan 2019 so I have most of the warranty left Will post up lots of pics when it gets here |

Mine wears in rotation with some heavy hitters and it does just fine because, like you, I wear it for ME.
