ebay alert read
I got an email through ebay that reads the following
Hi, I am contacting you from my daughter's eBay user account regarding: Item: 270325309631 Title:Zenith Chronomaster T El Primero Mens Auto Chrono Watch(you made an BEST OFFER on my auction ), because eBay blocks any communications after the auction is over so that`s why now i`m forced to contact you from my daughter`s eBay account . I need your agreement on this so I may contact eBay to confirm you the winning position, otherwise I'll relist the item. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but I need an answer as soon as possible as your last BEST OFFER that you made will be taken into consideration . So,if you`re still interested please email me at: [email protected] or give me your e-mail address so we can correspond . Thanks for your interest and participation. PS: Please do not contact me through the eBay system because this is my daughter's eBay user account and i cant access it all the time. PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY AT [email protected] I think this is a scam and have called and emailed the ebay powerseller tradeinwatches whos auction it was. The scammers must be getting really good if they can find out whos auction you bid on or made a best offer.Watch out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PS I just called them and they said its not them and they will look into it.Very casual about it.

Yes, this is a Phishing Scam. Usually they provide a link in their email to Login to Ebay. The page & URL look legit, but in fact it's a spoofed page. When you log on it will capture your user name and password. If you happended to log in using the link in the message, change your password ASAP.
