Questions, Questions from a Newbie!!
Hello everyone, i'm looking to purchase my 1st Panerai and have several questions. I have a few watches picked out that have piqued my interest, but i wanted some more information before making a decision. The 4 watches i am interested in are the 111, 112, 176, and 177. Now, the questions:
1) Are all of these watches easily obtainable (no waiting lists from demand)? 2) Is there a reliable current price list for these watches on the internet? 3) Will dealers discount these watches, and if so, what is a fair discount to receive? 4) Can someone explain the sandwich dial i keep hearing about, and, are any of these watches equipped with that type of dial? 5) Any recommended authorized dealers in Illinois (where i live)? I realize that 2 of the watches are polished steel and the other 2 chrome, 2 with second hand and 2 without. Aside from these obvious differences, do the 4 watches have anything else notably different from one another that i should be aware of? Thanks for your help! |

1 in todays market. yes
2 paneristi.com 3 they should b/c the economy sucks. around 10%. unless its a botique, then 0 to 5%. expect to get free straps. instead of a price discount. btw, u might do better in the gray market. 4 this is the sandwich u dont eat. ha ha . theres some post's on this site. do a search to find them. 5 panerai.com has a location finder. notable differences also includes the oem strap color. hope this helps!!! |
