Most recent two year collection (one picture)

With all the new releases, I thought it would be interesting to see how many of us watch fans made purchases in the last two years, here’s my two year purchases...

^ this thread is exactly why cases are empty - people can’t stop buying!
These guys are averaging one a quarter.

That is exactly how I was going to reply…I was going to add “ or the opportunity to purchase from AD without markup” as well

^ anyone who has the means should do whatever they choose first and foremost.

My statement wasn’t about both your buying habits individually but on a grand scale. I think with the economy thriving and many doing the same is the reason there is low stock.

I also think it’s somewhat funny, to use you both as an example what was the 24 months before the pictured 24 months from a buying perspective(if you wish to share)?

I think it’s just a crazy market currently - there may be some that buy 1 a month or 1 there whole life.

From a psychological perspective I get attached to my possessions. I don’t like to sell/trade etc. so I feel I put a lot more thought into my purchases overall.

I’ve been buying for 20 years from the same AD, here is my one collection I posted on 1/17 (minus my Daytona SS black faced, which is in the safe, never worn)

Very, you must have a good relationship with your AD.

Great collect and nice job taking the photo. I love your Batman, unfortunately, I sold mine about one month before they were discounted.

Thanks!

Love the Batman too. Unfort you can't keep them all and you never know what will go up or down or get discontinued.

For example I passed on the Omega Silver Snoopy and chose the CK2998 (blue panda). Dumb mistake financially, but ilike the CK more

You and I have sort of similar collection. Or least I would have if I bought everything that was offered to me. I passed on the Hulk (too green) and the SD43 / DSSD-JC (too large). I have a matching Panerai PAM 911 with green dial

I'm on the hunt and on list for a Patekk 5167 in SS.

This is my first Patek and I too was nervous spending this much for a rubber strapped watch. Just to be clear, I’ve only have the watch for a week now and I’ve only worn it to it a couple of times, but it is extremely comfortable and very light weight, especially for being precious metal. I’m pleased with how it sits on the wrist and the size. My wrist is just under 7”, and it’s so much more comfortable than all, but one of my Rolex’s (my 5 digit Explorer).

Owning a Patek is an Entirely different experience than Rolex. I like it because it flies under the radar as most people don’t recognize it.

Looking forward to seeing you on the Patek forum.
