Rolex DJ41 Smooth bezel with Jubilee Bracelet.
Guys,
I am one of minority that don`t like fluted bezel at all however I do love the jubilee bracelet ( for it`s comfort and looks + I think it hides scratches better ). I do know that fluted + jubilee is a ideal combo however I just don`t like the look of fluted bezel. I tried it a few times this week and felt nothing. My daily outfit consists of t-shirts/hoodies with jeans/shorts and comfy sneakers most of the time. Basically very laid back casual. I know I am probably better suited with something more sporty like Sub, Explorer or GMT. I definitely don`t like the Explorer, Submariner is black and GMT is black. Hulk, Batman, Pepsi are ridiculously expensive these days. DJ41 blue dial with smooth bezel and jubilee bracelet that`s what I have in mind. I have no chance to check in in person as we don`t have AD in our country however I am 100% sure the dial will be stunning. My main concern if my outfit can pull this combo off ? Any of you guys rocking this particular combo with super casual outfits ? I can have one delivered to me by 10th of June exactly for my 35th Birthday however I am anxious to pull the trigger so to speak. Thank you in advance for all the helpful comments. Enjoy your timepieces everyone |

I’m 33 and work from home. I’m dressed pretty casual all the time. I have the dj41 w/jubilee and smooth bezel and it works great, IMO, in all scenarios. Go for it. It’s a great piece

I am not worried about jeans and jumpers as it will look fine I am sure. Everyone in my circle is trying to persuade me to go with Oyster bracelet that is more versatile and casual compare to jubilee |

I really like this configuration as a sports watch. I've been struggling to find a diver to pair with my 214270 and I've got half a mind to just go with a DJ41 in this exact configuration.

I've got blue DJ41 oyster & smooth on order. I've tried one on and it looks great. The dial is awesome in real life.
I fully intend to get the jubilee separately at a later date. ... as i like the jubilee but I know I will feel more comfortable with the oyster and wear it more that way ... I too in the minority, and not so keen on the fluted (on me) but it looks great on others.

Congrats. It is a great watch. I am a bit OCD so Oyster PCL is bothering me. I know if will look more "sporty" but judging by some photos jubilee works well with smooth bezel as well. I am always laid back casual so that is why I have concerns. Judging by some photos members are very comfortable rocking this combo with everything including flip flops and beer |

Don’t worry, it goes with almost everything. I have the smooth jubilee combo with the silver dial and I love how well it works with a T-shirt and sweats. The only thing that it does not do well is go with a outdoors/rugged look. Just go for it.

I have seen many Datejusts on here (41 and 36) with smooth bezel and jubilee bracelet. I think they look fine, sporty and casual. I hope to add a second DJ36 to my current one (smooth with oyster) and am considering smooth with jubilee for mine. I think you will be fine, if you like it, go for it.

By far my exact favorite combo. I dress up often, but also dress casual a lot. It goes with everything. Don’t listen to the oyster being more casual crowd. I have two others on oyster and the jubilee is BY FAR more comfortable and my favorite. the Rolex police are out in full force on here, but in real life no one cares.

Personally, I prefer fluted / jubilee combo followed by oyster / fluted . Not so much a fan of smooth/jubilee sorry.

I have the blue dial smooth/jubilee DJ41 and it looks great with jeans and shorts.
I think my SubC looks better with casual attire but the DJ41 definitely looks great. |

I love the blue dial date just.
But did you look into the Yacht Master? You can get them with some color. I think it’s a real sleeper watch. Check it out. |

Flop flops / boardies / hoodies / sneakers. I love the watch. The jubilee is way more comfortable than the Oyster too. If I am causal (say beach) I always prefer to wear the DJ41 to my BLNR for comfort reasons - you hardly know you are wearing it. And the jubilee doesn't show scratches either. Tbh there is no bad combination in the DJ41 (I wish I owned a few variations) but smooth bezel and Jubilee work very well together. I would also disagree with what your friends say - that the Oyster is more versatile and casual. The Jubilee is imo. |

I agree the YM is very underrated, but the OP is specifically keen on Jubilee and non Fluted - so probably not on his radar in this case.

DJ41 on Jubilee is the most comfy to wear in my whole collection.
Have a silver smooth and blue fluted . The silver smooth gets the most wrist time for the past three months |

I got smooth and jubilee. It goes with anything. Don’t worry.
I kind of regret not getting fluted though and may see if I can find someone who would ‘upgrade’ it. |

I had a SubC on Oyster before. These days seems liek everyone has a Black Submariner in my circle. Had to sell it. BLNR is my dream watch however I am not ready to spend 15k+ on it so decided to go with more affordable DJ41q Blue Dial. |
