Beach Find
Thought you guys might like to see this found by a friend last week on a south coast beach in the UK while metal detecting
Im not too clued up on these any ideas on year etc... |

That serial number dates it to about 1947. Great find! It would be an amazing watch to get going again but retain that beach patina.

Looks like a bubbleback. The dial is a bit puzzling. Dagger indices were often on center sweep seconds dial but haven’t seen them on a dial with subsidiary seconds function. The coronet is larger that usually seen.
Only guessing that it’s a 3132 and if he opens it up, that could be confirmed. Certainly a wonderful surprise for him, I’m sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
