Never purchased from there before but I recently downloaded the app. I see there are plenty of nice deals, but how do you know if a seller is trusted or not? If I find something I like, should I directly contact the seller? I found something I liked, then went to the sellers website but didn’t see that item on their website. Is that a red flag? Can anyone chime in on their experiences purchasing from Chrono24?

It is a flea-market, not unlike e-bay, but for watches.

I have purchased from them and when I ran my search for what I was looking for I refined my search to sellers in the US and also checked trusted sellers and after a few weeks I found what I wanted and then researched the seller and read their review and was pleased with the entire process, I conversed with the sellers representative and he seemed very open and honest and provided me with assurances I was looking for and Chrono24 also did the same as the funds went into an escrow account and were not released to the seller until I gave the ok.

I would gladly deal with the, again but you just have to do your homework on the seller

Bought my BLNR a couple of weeks back from a trusted seller all went smoothly and the watch is spot on.

I just used it the other day and picked up a nice 2000 oyster date ss and everything went great with no problems. ��

I sold 3 watches through Chrono24 and it all went very well.
I have not bought a watch yet and I am not sure I will buy a Rolex (=expensive) "blind" online. We will see.
All in all, it seems to be a very well organised and thought out marketplace.

Does anyone know of any similar websites/apps ?
Who is Chrono24's competition ?

I bought my first Rolex from a dealer who had listed it on Chrono24, but the dealer was local to me and I was able to see the watch and buy it directly from the dealer rather than through Chrono24. As a seller, I have listed a couple watches, but received only a few suspect emails that struck me as scams rather than legitimate buying inquiries.
